Kona had a Megga Moon-set! Here it was from Magic’s Mornings in Kona have many awesome locations to view the full moon-set at daylight.  Yesterday and todays moon was called a Megga moon.

Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles

  One of my favorite things to see is our friendly Honu,  Hawaiian green sea turtle. Please do not touch them,  but they are friendly and unafraid of humans.  What a treat it is to swim with or share a beach with them.

Beach at Pipeline Today, Winter is over (almost)!

Well this is what the beach at Pipe on the north shore of Oahu looks like this morning early! Perfect for beach walking, shell hunting, swimming &  sunbathing but only today because big surf arriving tomorrow expected up to 12 feet!

Hand Carved Hawaiian 4 Man Canoe

Right near where I surf each morning, some Hawaiians are carving this canoe and a Koa wood surfboard. Right now they are in the early stages of the process.  I am enjoying watching them complete it. This is a very special area near Keolanahihi, which is a special historical ancient village in kona.
